It is with sincere sadness that we acknowledge that our retired Brother of the Shubenacadie and District Fire and Emergency Services, Eric Beriau passed away yesterday. Our flag is at half mast! Our hearts are heavy and our minds are full of great memories for those of us who served with him. He will be missed our condolences go out to his family and to all who mourn for him.

ROAD CLOSURE: Hwy. 102, Exit 10, southbound, is closed due to a tractor trailer blocking the roadway. Please avoid, if possible.

This is one of a number of incidents affecting travel on 100 series highways and secondary roads across the province this morning. Please drive according to the road conditions: Slow down, leave space, stay focused.
