Greetings friends and host families. I am wondering if any of my contacts living in the maritimes (Moncton NB) specifically might be able to be a resource for me?

I have an adult female West African student whom will be studying at Crandall University starting in Jan 2026. She needs accomodation within easy transit of the school in Moncton. looking at host families, room shares, apartments, houses whatever.

Unfortunately the school doesn't provide on campus accomodations to Master students.

Some great practicle advice from our friends at Canada Immigration and Beyond

Have you been refused a Canadian visa? 🇨🇦What can you do?

The next steps you can take depends on the type of refusal you received.

🛑 For general refusals based on reasons such as insufficient funds, ties to home country, or missing information, you can improve the situation for which you were refused and reapply. You are free to reapply as many times as you want to.

🛑 If you are refused for misrepresentation and banned from Canada for 5 years due to fake documents, or inconsistent information,
you must wait for the period to pass and reapply.

🛑 If you strongly believe the officer’s decision was not fair or reasonable , or that there was an error, you can apply for a judicial review.

Note that once you submit an application to IRCC, there will always be a final decision, positive or negative. It is unusual to pay the application fees and not get a decision on your application.
