πŸŽ‰ Happy Retirement, Stephen! πŸŽ‰

Today marks the end of an incredible chapter as we celebrate Stephen Rennehan's final day with the Town of Shelburne.

For 46 years, Stephen has been a dedicated member of our Public Works team, helping to keep our community running smoothly. His hard work, commitment, and willingness to lend a hand have left a lasting impact on our town and on the many colleagues who have had the pleasure of working alongside him over the years.

Last week, staff, Council, family, and friends gathered to recognize Stephen's remarkable career and to thank him for his decades of service to the residents of Shelburne.

On behalf of the Town of Shelburne, we extend our sincere gratitude for 46 years of dedication and wish Stephen all the very best in his well-earned retirement. May this next chapter be filled with good health, happiness, relaxation, and plenty of time to enjoy the things you love most.

Thank you, Stephen, for everything you have done for our community. You will be greatly missed.

Please join us in congratulating Stephen and wishing him a happy retirement! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

πŸ“’ Town of Shelburne Town Hall – South End Community Water Quality & Morvan Road Dump Water Testing Results

The Town of Shelburne invites residents to attend an upcoming Town Hall focused on water quality in the South End Community and the recent water testing results related to the Morvan Road Dump.

Over the past several months, the Town of Shelburne, the South End Environmental Injustice Society (SEED), and the Black Loyalist Heritage Society have been working together to better understand community concerns related to water quality and the remediation of the Morvan Road Dump.

Representatives from Dillon Consulting and Rural Water Watch will be on hand to present findings, explain the testing process and results, and answer questions from residents.

πŸ“… Wednesday, June 24, 2026
πŸ•• 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
πŸ“ Shelburne Community Centre
63 King Street, Shelburne, NS

This is an opportunity to hear directly from the experts, ask questions, and learn more about the work that has been undertaken to better understand local water quality concerns.

If you require accessibility accommodations or have questions, please contact the Town of Shelburne at 902-875-2991. Accommodation requests should be submitted by 12pm on June 23, 2026.
