Our SCACL Wellness Committee organized a fabulous staff social at Brickers last week. Staff from different worksites coming together, some new faces, some friendly competition, and delicious food and drink. Thank you to all our amazing staff for their commitment and adaptability through a busy year.

Congratulations to our Advocate Council members as they embark on starting up a podcast to discuss issues of importance to them and the community. In this first brief episode, members introduce themselves and share why they are involved in the podcast. Also 'props' to our staff for flexing their production muscles to create the video. SCACL Advocates, Shelley, Amanda & Brian volunteered at the Pride Festival and hosted a vibrant booth filled with fabrics, paints and swag. Many came by to paint themselves a pride shirt/hat and engage with the hosts, who were keen to help younger artists. Jodi and Kevin coordinated the booth setup for this positive experience. Muscles were put to good use, as were the "fascinators" (yes, a real word apparently!! ;) ). Thank you to all that visited us! 😁🌈❤️

Happy retirement to big-hearted staff, Deb! After almost two decades at SCACL, she is on to the next chapter. A nice farewell party gave all a chance to wish her well. 👏🏖️
