Our government is taking action to lower building costs and speed up home construction:

• The Development Charge Reduction Program ($8.8B federal–provincial partnership) supports housing infrastructure where municipalities cut development charges by 30% or more.

• Along with the HST relief in Ontario’s 2026 Budget. Together, these measures will help make housing more affordable across the province.
