Last night, I had the privilege of officially handing over command of 2310 RCACC.

I want to sincerely thank our cadets, staff, volunteers, parents, guardians, and community supporters for making my time as Commanding Officer such a rewarding experience. Serving this corps has been one of the greatest honours of my career.

A special farewell to CWO McCarthy. Thank you for your exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to 2310. We wish you every success in your future endeavours. Remember, 2310 will always be your home.

Congratulations to CWO Curlew Doherty on your appointment as Corps RSM and to Capt Boston on assuming command of 2310 RCACC. I know the corps is in excellent hands. Lead with pride and continue building upon the strong traditions of this great corps.

Thank you, 2310. I am incredibly proud of everything we have accomplished together and look forward to watching the corps continue to grow and succeed.

On May 22nd, 23rd and 24th we conducted our Elemental Training weekend at St Kateri. For many of the cadets this was their first experience staying overnight in tents, along with their first experience with freeze dried backpacking meals. Also included was more firelighting, a firelighting team competition, a shelter building competition, a 'short' hike practical lesson in trail systems, trail markers and hike discipline, navigation practice and a drone presentation and demo. The high winds over the weekend did cause some challenges, ask the RSM and BSM..........Special thanks to CV Rowlinson for showing and allowing the cadets to take part in amateur radio.

Canoe intro, improvised shelters, erecting tents, basic fire lighting and an introduction to Project Lifesaver from our friends at Sault Search and Rescue. Special thanks to Lt. Breckenridge for joining us to assist with canoe training. Also to Capt
