Northland Adult Learning Centre Call or drop in to upgrade English, math & computer skills. Classes are free! In addition St. Joseph Island is included
in Treaty11 (1798).

The Algoma District School Board resides in three Treaty areas, Robinson-Huron (1850),
Robinson-Superior, (1850) and Treaty 9, (1905-1906). We would like to acknowledge that Northland Adult Learning Centre is situated upon Bawating, the
historic meeting place for the Indigenous people across North America. This is the traditional
territory of the Anishnaabek of Batchewana FN and Garden River FN as

well as the Historic
Sault Ste Marie Métis Council. This territory is included in the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850. We say miigwech to all of the Indigenous partners for sharing this land and recognize their
enduring presence. By making this land acknowledgement, we are reaffirming our commitment to take action on reconciliation and against anti-Indigenous racism. We honour and appreciate this land and the Indigenous peoples who live here. We commit to expanding our learning by building relationships with Indigenous knowledge-keepers, in our classrooms, through school activities and at home.

Six classes from November 25th - December 11th. Join Mike from 6:00-8:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to learn key features of Microsoft Excel that increase productivity in the construction trades.
-Learn the basics of making modern spreadsheets in a small group environment
-Create formulas and use functions to calculate data
-Use charts and graphs to convey complex information
-Sort, filter and use mail merge to make large datasets come to life
