🌟June is National Indigenous History Month! This month gives us an opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. It is a time to honour the heritage, stories, achievements, and resilience of Indigenous Peoples, who have lived on this land since time immemorial and whose presence continues to impact the evolving Canada. This month and beyond, let us continue amplifying and learning from Indigenous voices and experiences, as well as take the time to reflect upon our collective responsibility to foster reconciliation, understanding, and respect.
