A Saskatoon Branch of the Century Club was formed. This is a free club for seniors who have reached the age of 90 years and are determined to live in as full and active a style as possible to the age of 100 and beyond by pursing physical activity, mental agility and spiritual creativity. Today the club is going strong with over 200 members, including 17 centenarians β€” with our oldest member being 106 years.

Council launched this pilot program in October 2002. The drop in program aimed to provide older adults opportunity to socialize, learn new things and utilize the resources at Council's Centre. Programming included educational speakers, bus trips, refreshments, socializing and making crafts.
