Hello September!!! Summer is winding down and we are all getting back into our regular routines. Let’s take some time to celebrate our BNI SK Monthly Member Spotlight. 🙌

⭐️ Heather Tetzlaff is the Executive Director of Community Living Association Saskatoon Inc. (CLASI).

Heather and her team help clients living with disabilities and their families. They help with providing day programming, SILP, camps & clubs as well as providing youth support programs and supported visits for parents living with disabilities. They can also assist with navigating complex systems and respite registry.

Some of CLASI’s ideal referrals are community partners and businesses that want to partner with a local charity, donors and funders that want to make a difference in their local communities and anyone needing assistance while living with a disability.

Heather has been a Member of the BNI Prairie Prosperity chapter for almost 5 years. She is loved by her fellow Members and they are always going above and beyond to help Heather and CLASI with fundraising and support.

Heather is a farmers wife, has 3 active sons and is an active community volunteer. She truly enjoys helping others and making a difference in her community. A truly special individual. ❤️

🔥💃 Phoenix Dance Season is Almost Here! 🕺🔥

We’re excited to kick off another season of great music, dancing, and fun! 🎶

📅 Season starts September 18
📍 McNeil Fitness Center
⏰ Dances run from 6:30–8:30 PM

Get your season pass before the first dance so you’re all set for the upcoming season!

💵 $5 per dance at the door
🎟️ $85 for non-members in advance — includes annual membership and admission to all dances
⭐ $60 for CLASI members in advance — includes admission to all dances

Please note: The wind-up on May 28 is not included in the season pass.

Grab your dancing shoes and bring your friends—we’ll see you on the dance floor! 🎶💃🕺

Want to help shape the future of the Elmwood Community Hub? We want to hear from you! 👋

At Elmwood, we believe in “Do With, Not For”, and the Elmwood Community Hub is being designed with that same philosophy at its core. We want to hear directly from people who understand accessibility, inclusion, and participation through both lived experience and professional expertise.

We are inviting people with disabilities, caregivers, family members, and disability sector professionals to participate in a series of engagement sessions focused on the future Interconnected Support spaces within the Elmwood Community Hub. ✨

These sessions will help us better understand the barriers people face and identify opportunities to create a more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for everyone.
