DONATION GUIDELINES
As our library is quite small we may not be able to accept all donations. Please refer to our

donation guidelines and then send us a private message with a photo of your donation for approval. Items must but be clean
Items must be in good working order
For fire safety, items must not be gas powered. Items must be small and light enough to transport down stairs. We may refuse items at our discretion. You may leave your contact details to take the item back at any time. In the case that we re-donate unpopular items we will contact the original donor if they request it. Please provide the manual if possible. Popular items tend to fall under the following categories:
Tools, camping and sports equipment, board games, toys and house party supplies.

🎉 WE’RE TURNING 9! 🎉

Nine years of lending, sharing, borrowing and building community! And WOW, look how far we’ve come. 🥳
Over the past 9 years, Library of Things YXE has grown SO much. We’ve moved spaces, expanded our hours, grown our inventory, built new partnerships, welcomed more members and volunteers, and helped make 8,000+ loans happen! 🤯🙌

That’s more than 8,000 times someone was able to borrow something they needed, try something new, tackle a project, host an event or have a little fun without needing to buy something they might only use once.

And we’re not slowing down! 🚀 We have more partnerships, new ideas and exciting things in the works, and we can’t wait to see where the next year takes us.

A HUGE thank you to every member, volunteer, donor, partner and supporter who has helped make these 9 years possible. From those early grassroots days to where we are today, Library of Things YXE exists because this community believed in the idea and continues to show up for it. ❤️

Our folding wheelbarrow will soon be available to borrow, making it easy to tackle those outdoor projects without needing to buy and store one.
