We’re helping the Sarnia Jail bring more hope, learning, and positivity to the people inside- and we need your help.

Their small collection needs a refresh with PAPERBACK books that inspire growth and well-being, especially:

📚 Educational and skill-building books including dictionaries and thesauruses

🌿 Indigenous stories and teachings

💛 Wellness, mindfulness, and inspiring true stories

Your donations will help promote healing, knowledge, and hope for our community’s incarcerated population.

From Wed, Oct 22nd through Fri, Oct 31st we’ll accept gently-used paperbacks in a collection bin here at our office.

📍We are located in Room 103 in the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre.

We’ll make sure they reach the Sarnia Jail. 💛

We are so excited for Canadian Independent Bookstore Day on April 26! We will have our usual Giveaways and Draws, Double Your Points, Discounted Books and our famous Win Your Purchase Back Draw that day! There is also a National CIBD Contest for a $1000 Shopping Spree. Save the date, mark it on your calendars, book the day off from work, load up the cars and come join us!

If you’re decluttering your house and have books to donate, consider dropping off some books at your neighbourhood Little Free Library.

Or donate to the Rotary book sale - this is a good fundraiser for the Service Club.

You can then stock up on more books on sale days. The one in, one out theory applies, right??
