Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council

Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council Welcome to the OFFICIAL page for the Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council.

In 1827 the Amherstburg Treaty was implemented creating 4 First Nations in what is now Southwestern Ontario. One of these
First Nations formed was the Chippewas of Sarnia, now known as the Aamjiwnaang First Nation. We are a progressive community with a rich history, a thriving present, and a promising future. With the Seven Grandfather Teachings as our guiding our principles, we will continue to ensure that our traditions and culture are passed down to the next generations.
