We are thrilled to announce our partnership with as part of an innovative project to address gender-based violence (GBV) in Sarnia-Lambton!

Together with Sarnia-Lambton leaders in Industrial and Construction Trade workplace safety and other community gender-based violence partners, we are developing interactive, evidence-based programming aimed at engaging men in allyship to end GBV. This initiative will also partner with the Male Ally Coalition”(MAC) to promote gender equity and community safety.

With the alarming rise of intimate partner violence in the region, this project is more important than ever. By educating and raising awareness, we hope to drive systemic change and create a safer, more supportive community for everyone.

A huge thank you to College’s Centre for Community, Health & Social Impact (CCHSI) for leading this initiative and to the College and Community Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF) through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) for their generous funding of $360K over three years.

This partnership will bring meaningful, lasting change to Sarnia-Lambton.

💗 Pink Shirt Day 💗

Today, we wear pink to take a stand against bullying and promote kindness, respect, and inclusion. What started as a small act of solidarity in Canada has grown into a global movement reminding us that our words and actions matter.

At The Centre, we believe in creating safe spaces where everyone is valued, heard, and supported. Bullying, whether online or in person, has lasting effects—but together, we can build a culture of compassion.

💬 How can you help?
✔️ Speak up when you see bullying
✔️ Support those who are struggling
✔️ Lead with kindness every day

Let’s lift each other up. Let’s create a community where everyone belongs. 💕
