Welcome Back to School!

It’s the first day of school, which means school buses are back on the roads and students are making their way to and from school.

As everyone gets back into their routines, please remember to slow down, stay alert, and keep an eye out for buses and students crossing the road.

A big thank you to The Inn of the Good Shepherd - Sarnia for their generous donation of backpacks filled with school supplies for the boys at Huron House!

With the new school year beginning, these backpacks will help make sure our boys have the supplies they need to start the year prepared and ready to learn.

We truly appreciate the Inn of the Good Shepherd for thinking of our boys and for their continued support of Huron House.

We’re excited to share some great news! Huron House Boys’ Home has been nominated for Non-Profit of the Year at the 2026 Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBBAs)!

We are incredibly proud to be recognized alongside so many amazing organizations in our community. This nomination reflects the dedication of our staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, supporters, community partners, and everyone who helps make a difference in the lives of the youth in our care.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Huron House and continues to believe in the work we do. We are honoured to be nominated and grateful to be part of such a supportive community!

We want to give a huge shoutout to Bluewater Inflatables for generously donating an inflatable waterslide for the day! Our boys had an absolute blast, and it was the perfect way to enjoy some summer fun!

We’re so grateful to local businesses that give back and help create fun experiences and great memories for the youth at Huron House.
