Town of Saltcoats

Town of Saltcoats Saltcoats is situated only 27 km from the thriving City of Yorkton and due to the picturesque setting of Anderson Lake has earned the title "The Laketown".

Saltcoats offers residents of the town and RM an ice rink, curling rink, library, community hall, daycare, and a senior’s care home. There is a hotel, restaurant, credit union, liquor outlet, two antique stores, and auto repair. An elementary school from Kindergarten to Grade 8 welcomes children from Saltcoats, Bredenbury and many rural students from the area, as well as a playschool for children 3-4 years old. Our location makes access to all the Yorkton amenities and shopping very convenient.

Update:

The fireworks are going to start at 10:00 pm

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, there will be a Fireworks display occurring at the Saltcoats and District Regional Park for a wedding that is taking place that day. The Wedding Party would like to extend an invitation to the community to watch their fireworks occurring at approx 11:00 pm.
