The Salmon Arm Economic Development Society (SAEDS) is currently seeking dynamic, community-minded professionals to fill two (2) vacancies on our Board of Directors. We are looking for dedicated individuals to represent two vital sectors of our local economy:
🔹Tourism Sector Representative
🔹Manufacturing Sector Representative

SAEDS is a non-profit organization operating under contract with the City of Salmon Arm. Our mission is to foster entrepreneurship, economic resilience, and sustainable growth within our region. We achieve this through targeted initiatives in:
🔹Business & Talent Attraction: Drawing new investment and skilled workers to the area.
🔹Business Support: Providing resources and guidance to help local enterprises thrive.
🔹Program Development: Launching innovative projects that strengthen our economic foundation.

As a board member, you will play a role in shaping the economic future of Salmon Arm. We are looking for representatives who are passionate about growing our business community and are committed to fostering long-term prosperity for our entire municipality. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise, collaborate with fellow leaders, and make a meaningful impact on the place we call home.

Take a moment to share your thoughts with the City of Salmon Arm on their new communication survey open until May 29 at 4 PM. This is your chance to share how communication comes from the city to you, the community member.

🗣️ Help Shape How the City Communicates With You

The City of Salmon Arm is developing a new Communications Strategy and we want to hear directly from residents, businesses, and community members about how you currently receive City information and how communication can be improved moving forward.

The Community Communications Survey asks about:
✔ Where you get City news and updates
✔ Website and social media use
✔ Public engagement opportunities
✔ What topics you want to hear more about
✔ What communication tools work best for you

The survey takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.
