PUBLIC REMINDER: Dog Licenses

All dogs within the Village of Salmo that are over 4 months old are required to have a valid dog license each year.

The Bylaw Officer will be checking to ensure compliance.

Unlicensed dogs or dogs at large may be impounded and the owner will be responsible to pay applicable fines and/or impoundment fees.

Fact: Revenue brought in by dog licensing helps pay for dog p**p bags, dispensers, Civic Works time to maintain the stations and any required Bylaw Enforcement. Also, having your dog licensed helps Village Staff get your lost pet home to you much quicker.

Please do your part and license your dog(s).
