Shared Trail Courtesy Reminder

Our community trails are for everyone! Cyclists and scooter riders are reminded to use a bell, horn or friendly verbal warning when approaching walkers from behind. Walkers should remain aware of their surroundings and leave enough room for others to pass safely.

If you’re enjoying the trail with your dog, please keep them under control and always pick up and properly dispose of their waste.

A little courtesy goes a long way toward keeping our trails safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone—especially seniors, children and those walking with pets.

Municipal District of St. Stephen: Skate Park Construction to start

https://alertable.ca/ #/incidents/3362be17-4293-492e-a543-39e80d29649c

On Thursday, September 3rd construction will begin with ground preparation of the future skate park at Burton Avenue in St. Stephen.

There will be a number of parking spots that will no longer be available in this area, there will be barricades in place to assist with keeping the parking lot clear.

We are aware that this area of the parking lot has been used by Service NB for driving and motorcycle training. We have consulted with them and these areas will be moved adjacent to the future skate park location.

This alert will remain in effect until construction is complete but is expected to be for several weeks. Another update will be provided when this first phase of construction will be completed. We appreciate your patience on this matter and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
