Weโ€™re proud to celebrate Shining Horizons Therapeutic Riding Association and the incredible progress of their Care Farm project.

Supported in part through a previous Community Foundation Grant, this innovative initiative is helping create new pathways for mental health support through connection to nature, animals, community, and care.

As we recognize 50 years of community impact, we are honoured to be one of many partners supporting projects and like this one that strengthen wellbeing and create lasting change in our region.

Weโ€™re so proud of Tyler Patterson and the incredible impact theyโ€™re making in our community. What started as one courageous step to deliver a land acknowledgement a year ago has grown into a movement supporting Wolastoqey language revitalization, raising more than $5,000 for Kehkimin Wolastoqey Immersion School and counting.

For 50 years, community has been at the heart of everything we do, and this beautiful project brings that spirit to life in the most colourful way imaginable. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’›

Over the past several weeks, young artists from St. John the Baptist / King Edward School have been working alongside artist Abi Reinhart at Divine Studios to create a community mural inspired by kindness, creativity, and connection.

Also supported with the expertise of the Saint John Arts Centre, the mural will be unveiled this June as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, and already, itโ€™s become something truly special.

Ken is being recognized alongside an incredible group (Harry Forestell, Harrison McCain, Marion McNair McCain, and Kate Beaton) for their outstanding achievements and contributions to society.
