How can we make our community stronger and more inclusive?

Our Early Childhood Development students explored this question through creative posters inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Their work highlights ideas for tackling hunger, poverty, educational barriers, and inequality.

The learning continues as students prepare to visit local organizations making a difference right here in our community!

🌎 World food day was created to help raise awareness about the United Nations 2nd Sustainable Development Goal, Zero Hunger.

Here at HVHS one way we celebrated was by bringing in Jesse, The Uptown Fridge. Jesse walks and does races, all with a fridge strapped to his back to raise money and awareness for food insecurity in Saint John.

Climate Action collected donations during the week and HVHS was able to donate $500 to Jesse’s cause!

Way to go, Vikings!
