SECC Program overview:
The South End Community Center was a joint project of the federal, provincial and municipal governments. Under the neighborhood improvement program the center officially opened its doors on November 28, 1978. It has since then changed hands from the City of Saint John and now operates under The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John. The center offers three free structured progr
ams; after-school, evening and summer, all focused on providing young people with a foundation for building assets. Programs are developed and run by dedicated, enthusiastic staff who are focused to inspire! Level Up After-School Program thanks to the Windsor Foundation
Monday - Friday: 2:30-5:30 pm
Free program for South End children (ages 5+)
Including: Homework Club, Tutoring, Cooking Lessons, Gaming, Arts/Crafts, Sports and more! After-School Program is limited to 30 children/year. Evening Program
Monday - Thursday Children in grades k-5: 6:30-7:30 pm
Youth in middle school+: 7:45 - 8:45 pm
Free drop-in program
Including: Rising Stars Basketball Mondays and Fridays
Summer Program
Monday – Friday
Free program for South End children (ages 5+)
