After more than 7 months deployed overseas on Operation REASSURANCE in Latvia, we are proud to finally welcome home our Bugle Major, Sgt. Mabel James, who returns to Canada on Monday. 🇨🇦

Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and service to Canada during your deployment. Your leadership and presence have been greatly missed, and we are so excited to have you back with the band family.

Safe travels home, and welcome back, Sgt. James!

Another busy and meaningful weekend for the Lincoln & Welland Foundation Band 🎶🇨🇦

Our weekend began Friday evening performing the national anthem for the Niagara River Lions, followed by supporting the 68 L&W ACR, and concluded Sunday with Decoration Day at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.

Decoration Day remains an important tradition of remembrance; a time to honour and decorate the graves of veterans and fallen service members who gave so much in service to our country. We are always grateful for the opportunity to take part in preserving and recognizing this history within our community.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed and supported us throughout the weekend, and thank you Deanna Sanders for these awesome photos!❤️💙

What a fantastic afternoon at Montebello Park! Yesterday, the Lincoln & Welland Foundation Band was proud to support the Lincoln and Welland Regiment’s Change of Command Parade in St. Catharines.

The event also marked the Standing Up of the new tactical group made up of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada, as well as the welcoming of the new Commanding Officer, LCol Robison, and CWO Feletar.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been included in such a meaningful day and always appreciate the opportunity to support the Regiment and our community. 🇨🇦💙

This afternoon, the Lincoln & Welland Foundation Band was honoured to perform for 613 Army Cadets Fonthill’s Annual Ceremonial Review. Congratulations to all of the cadets for their dedication, professionalism, and accomplishments throughout the training year. Thank you to the staff, volunteers, families, and supporters who continue to make opportunities like this possible for local youth. We are always proud to support events that recognize leadership, discipline, and community involvement. 🇨🇦🎶

Tonight, the Lincoln and Welland Foundation Band is excited to kick off the Fenwick Lions Carnival with this evening’s parade! 🎶🥁

Join us as we march through Fenwick to help start another great community tradition. The parade begins at 7:00 PM, and we hope to see lots of familiar faces along the route! ☀️🎺

We’re excited to be guests of the Port Dalhousie Legion Branch 350 for this Tuesday’s (May 12) Practice on the Patio, weather permitting! ☀️🎶

We’re looking forward to returning throughout the summer to soak up the sun, enjoy the waterfront, and share some music with the community.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible moms in our band family!

Today we celebrate the mothers marching beside us, the moms who raised and supported our members through early mornings, late nights, practices, parades, and performances, and the mother figures who continue to encourage and inspire us both on and off the parade square.

The support, dedication, and care behind our band community does not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to help keep our traditions, friendships, and music alive.
