Our book club read Remarkably Bright Creatures back in May 2024, and tonight we gathered at our local community theatre to watch the movie adaptation.

We laughed, we cried -happy tears, sad tears and we loved every moment of seeing a book we adored make its way to the screen.

What a perfect night for our book club.

We are looking for community feedback!

Our library has previously offered Parent & Tot programs during the summer months. As we begin planning this year’s summer programming, we would like your input to help us decide whether these programs will be attended and should be offered again this year.

These programs are designed for children ages 2–5 and must be attended with a parent or guardian.

Please let us know if you and your family would be interested in participating. Your feedback will help us plan programs that best serve our community!

For those of you hosting garage sales, the library has a small request. If you end up with items that don’t sell and were already planning to donate them, please consider giving them to the library for our annual Christmas Thrift Shop Experience for the students of St. Brieux School.

Your donated items help us create a magical, affordable shopping experience for the kids each year, and your generosity truly makes a difference in our community.

The Library wants to extend a huge, heartfelt thank‑you to local jeweller Shawna Ubell. Shawna generously facilitated two earring‑making workshops where participants were able to create up to five pairs of earrings each — completely FREE. Yes… free.

Her generosity made something truly special happen. Over 100 pairs of earrings were created across the two sessions — Mother’s Day gifts, gifts for loved ones, and of course a few beautiful pairs for the makers themselves.

And now, Shawna is adding a brand‑new adventure to her repertoire. She’ll be offering her earring‑making workshops as well as other workshops as bookable events — think birthday parties, sports wind‑ups, girls’ nights, or really any gathering that wants a fun, creative, hands‑on experience.
