THE FOURTH TRIMESTER

The newborn days can be beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and sometimes… all of those things at once.

Our Fourth Trimester group is a warm and supportive space for new parents adjusting to the emotional and mental changes of early parenthood. Through guided conversations and educational activities, we’ll explore:

✨ Self-compassion & personal well-being
✨ Changing relationships & healthy boundaries
✨ Social media & the pressures of new parenthood
✨ The challenges of adjusting to a new identity
✨ Building connection and community with other new parents

Most importantly, it’s a chance to talk openly about the messy, beautiful, exhausting reality of caring for a baby — with others who are in a similar season of life.

This summer, our playground garden was full of life! Thanks to grant funding from the The Home Depot Foundation we were able to purchase Vegepods and create a special space where children could learn about growing food right in our own playground.

With lots of little hands helping along the way, we grew beans, peas, spinach, potatoes and carrots. The children loved watching their vegetables grow and were excited to help water, care for and check on the plants throughout the summer. There was something pretty special about seeing their excitement when they discovered a new pea pod or pulled a carrot.

Our garden was more than just a place to grow vegetables—it was a place to learn, connect and grow together. A big thank you to the Home Depot Foundation for helping us make this experience possible and to all of our little gardeners for giving our veggies so much love and care!

As families get ready for a new school year, you can help make a difference for local students.
Join the community for the Stuff a Bus school supply drive on Saturday, August 29, 2026 (THIS SATURDAY!), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Staples St. Albert.
They are collecting new school supplies to help ensure students in our community have the tools they need for a successful start to the school year. Some of our most needed items include backpacks, notebooks, binders, pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, glue sticks, and pencil cases.
Whether you pick up one extra item or fill a backpack, every donation will help support local children and families.
We hope you'll stop by, say hello, and help Stuff a Bus!
