WHAT'S GOING ON...? No need to panic. Members of the WEFD will be training at an acquired structure on Thompson Line East of Graham road.

What you might see:
✅ Firetrucks
✅ Firefighters
✅ Smoke (fake)
✅ Hoses spraying water

You won't see
❎Flames/fire
❎ Unnecessarily unsafe activity
❎ Sasquatch

Please keep an eye out for firefighters training if you're in that area and have respect for the training and the owners of the property who were gracious enough to allow us to train there.

Incident - crews attended Aldborough Public School this morning for a monitored alarm. The school was evacuated while firefighters removed a small battery, performed ventilation, and ensured the building was safe for occupancy. No injuries were reported & crews have cleared the scene.

Update (2:40pm) - fire has been contained, some of the crews have cleared scene. Thanks to the agricultural community for assisting this afternoon.

Active Incident - crews are at field fire on McDougall Line. Agricultural equipment is being utilized to assist with fire confinement to existing brush piles. No reported injuries. Please avoid the area.
