Fire crews from Rocky View County were assisted by Chestermere and Calgary firefighters Thursday afternoon after a house under construction became fully engulfed in Conrich, just east of Calgary.

I arrived after the initial stages of the incident, but multiple homes under construction had already been damaged as crews worked defensively to contain the fire and prevent further spread. Roads were closed and nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

The fire was brought under control later in the afternoon. No injuries were reported.

Managed to capture a few solid moments from the scene as operations continued.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
