Building tomorrow's leaders starts today.

Rocky Gas Co-op had the opportunity to sponsor a youth from the area who attended the Goldeye Co-operative Youth Leadership Camp. Participants developed leadership skills, co-operative learning, and got to experience a range of outdoor adventures, including swimming, paddleboarding, ropes courses, climbing, archery and team-building.

Environment Canada is forecasting severe weather in the area that may bring strong winds and large hail. This watch is for and Town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

Residents are reminded that trees impacted by recent tornadoes and wind events may have sustained hidden damage and could be weakened. These trees are at an increased risk of falling during future wind events, even if they appear stable.

Keep in mind there may be damaged underground or above ground gas lines following the aftermath of the tornado/storm.

Our crews are out looking for damages and leaks on our system presently.

Huge thanks to all our members who showed up the 53rd Annual General Meeting. Thanks to Dovercourt Community Hall (Clearwater County) staff for hosting us and preparing a wonderful dinner. Jason Nixon, representatives from Crossroads Gas Co-op Ltd., Diamond Valley Gas Co-op, our auditor Bill Mayer from Baker Tilly and Kyle Patterson from Gas Alberta for joining us. Finally, to all the staff who helped make this run so smoothly including our MC Matthew Taylor and minutes taker Lenore Woitas.

Today is our 53rd Annual General Meeting at the Dovercourt Community Hall (Clearwater County). We will be closing a little early around 3:00 to get everything set up. Can’t wait to see everyone there.

🌞Sun is shining for today’s Rocky Pro Rodeo parade. This year they are celebrating 100 years of the Royal Canadian Legion. Big thanks to all the staff that helped out.
