The Township of Guelph/Eramosa is looking for a Seasonal Winter Night Patroller to join our Public Works team for the 2026–2027 winter season.

Help keep our community moving safely this winter by supporting snow and ice removal and other winter road maintenance operations.

🎶 ROCKMOSA STRUMMERS UKULELE GROUP IS BACK THIS FALL! 🎶

Grab a ukulele, learn some new tunes, and have a little fun!

Join Carolyn McLeod McCarthy for a welcoming and social ukulele group where you can learn, play, and connect with others. Whether you’re picking up a ukulele for the first time or looking to build on your skills, all skill levels are welcome and open to 18+! Come try something new, meet some great people, and enjoy making music together.

📅 Thursdays, September 17 – November 26, 2026 (No class October 22)
⏰ 7:00–8:50 PM
📍 Rockmosa Older Adult Centre

$75 + HST Registration Fee
$70 + HST OAC Members

Your registration includes a lender ukulele and song sheets, so you have everything you need to get started!

What you’ll learn:
-Ukulele anatomy
-Finger positioning
-Strumming techniques
-Fun songs using similar chords and patterns

New to ukulele? Beginner instruction runs from 7:00–7:50 PM, followed by a 10-minute break. More advanced instruction runs from 8:00–8:50 PM. All members are welcome to join the entire class.

Unsure if you’re on the Voter’s List? Contact us at the Municipal Office to find out!
As the Township of Guelph/Eramosa Votes By Mail, it is best to check if you are on the list as early as possible to make sure you receive your Voter Kit when they are mailed out on September 28th
If you don’t register, don’t stress! You can come to the Township Office throughout the month of October up until Election Day – October 26, 2026 – to get yourself added to the list and to receive a Voter Kit. You will also be able to do so at any of our Voter Kit Return Stations (swipe to the next slide).
