KinderReady Readers is Palliser Regional Library’s New early literacy initiative for children ages 0–5. We’re helping families build a love of reading from the very start by providing free books that support early brain development, language skills, and kindergarten readiness. Reading with young children boosts vocabulary, communication, imagination, and confidence—and helps set them up for lifelong learning success. By putting books directly into families’ hands, we’re making it easier for every child to build a home library and positive reading habits early on. Ask your Rural Branch Librarian for details!

The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
