*1 hour of pool time, 1/2 hour upstairs

CALM WATERS

A gentle, supportive swimming program for children who may experience high anxiety, sensory sensitivities, communication differences, or feel overwhelmed in a traditional swimming lesson.

Calm Waters welcomes children who need extra time to adjust, prefer a quieter environment, or simply need swimming to move at their own pace.

Our focus is on creating a calm, patient and pressure-free experience where each child can feel safe, comfortable and successful in the water.

Caregivers are welcome to accompany their child in the water.

A HUGE THANK YOU!

I am filled with gratitude for everyone who supported our Pool Fundraiser BBQ today!

A huge thank you to Borderland Co-op for sponsoring our BBQ. Your continued support of our pool and our community is so greatly appreciated!

Thank you to Ilene Anderson, who was AMAZING at leading our lifeguard BBQ crew and helping everything come together!

Thank you to everyone who generously donated baking, and to our incredible lifeguard staff, who traded in their rescue tubes for BBQ tools and became chefs for the night!

And, of course, thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed supper, bought some goodies, supported our fundraiser and spent part of your evening with us. Every bit of support means so much.

A special thank you to Andrea and Troy for taking burgers home to BBQ and continuing to cook and deliver! And Brent for delivering us a second BBQ!!

Days like today are such a great reminder of what makes our community so special. The support shown for our pool, our programs and our town facilities is incredible.
