The Rotary Club of Richmond donated $1,200 to the Minoru Seniors Society to support their seniors program. On December 24, members and family, David, Grace, Jacqueline & Raymond, Keith and Becky, Madeline, Mandy, Alan and Zoe, Rajan delivered 34 Christmas turkey dinner out of 100 to the isolated seniors in Richmond.

To add some holiday cheers, Mandy’s daughter Zoe and her friends at school handmade 98 Christmas crafts and cards to send along with the goodie bags.

Congratulations to our club's Past President Dr. Tony and Nancy Yurkovich being the proud recipients of the 2025 alumni UBC Achievement Awards.

They are dedicated to advancing healthcare and education. They are thoughtful philanthropists and advocates who lead by example and inspire others through public speaking and mentorship. At UBC, they support research into sustainable agriculture and initiatives aimed at optimizing patient-clinician relationships. They have enhanced student wellbeing through bursaries and contributions to mental health services. Their community involvement in Richmond, including leadership of a 12-year campaign to establish the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House, has transformed the city’s healthcare landscape.

A very successful Rotary Club representation at this year's Trick-or-treat in Steveston Village.

On Friday Oct 31, from 3-5pm, the Rotary Club of Richmond along with Rotary Club of Steveston handed over candy and treats to 1,000 kids.

Our club member Rajan Paul organized this event with President Yuhan, DG Elect Dean, and Joanne also showed up to lend some support.

Yesterday our club President Yuhan Chen, President-Elect Madeline Hermary and fellow Rotarians from Rotary District 5040 (Official) volunteered at the Rotary World Help loading a 40 foot container of repurposed medical supplies for Ukraine.
