An Incredible 5 Years! 🥂💜

This past week, we celebrated 5 incredible years of Wisteria Place! 💚🎉

It was such a special day bringing together our residents, families, team, GM Elena, Regional Operations Manager Leanne and Head of Finance Calvin, and the Steveston Temple Buddhist Board to celebrate this milestone.

There was laughter, great company, and an amazing steak BBQ thanks to Jonathan, our Maintenance Manager. 🥩🔥 And of course, nitin, our Executive Chef, treated everyone to a delicious fresh strawberry cake! 🎂

Celebrating 5 years is wonderful, but seeing our Wisteria Place community come together is what made the day truly special. Here’s to 5 incredible years and many more memories ahead! 💚✨

At Optima Living, we make it easy to enjoy summer to the fullest. From sunny afternoon walks along our beautifully maintained grounds to patio socials, outdoor games, and barbecues, there is always a reason to step outside and embrace the season.

A lovely visit at Wisteria Place!

Ali and his daughter, Anya, joined our residents for a Japanese origami class, where they made paper cranes together. They also spent time in our courtyard feeding the fish in the koi pond.

It was a special visit filled with creativity, connection, and warm moments.

Community, generosity, and teamwork in action!

We are incredibly proud of the success of our Wisteria Place food bank drive in support of the Richmond Food Bank Society Food Bank. Thanks to the amazing generosity of our residents, families, team members, and community partners, we raised over $4,000 to help support local families in need.

This donation will contribute to the Brighter Days, Fuller Plates program, helping provide nutritious food to students throughout the summer months when school meal programs are unavailable. 🍽️

A special thank you to Montrose Properties for matching this incredible donation and doubling our impact. Together, we were able to make a $9,250 difference in our community. ✨

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this initiative such a success. We are proud to come together as a community and make a meaningful impact. 💙

Today we were honoured to welcome the Richmond Community Concert Band and their incredible 45 piece orchestra for a performance that filled our community with music, laughter, and connection.

From Mambo Jambo to the unforgettable themes from E.T. and Star Wars, every piece brought smiles to our residents. The evening ended on a high note with the entertaining Rubber Chicken Gala, leaving everyone laughing and applauding.

A heartfelt thank you to the Richmond Community Concert Band for sharing your talent and creating such a meaningful experience for our residents. Evenings like these are what make Wisteria Place feel like home.

Today marks Canada Day, a day to recognize the people, communities, and everyday moments that contribute to life across the country. More than anything, it is a day that highlights connection, as people across the country take part in the celebration in their own way.

Within our Optima Living communities, Canada Day is enjoyed in meaningful ways, with residents coming together to share time, take part in light gatherings, and enjoy the sense of connection.
