Are you ready for the Pride event everyone will be talking about? Join This Wed May 27th 6:30 p.m. at the Aurora Public Library

Join Pflag York Region for our Pride Party & Sign-Making Social Night — a fun, welcoming evening full of creativity, laughter, snacks, and community connection.

Whether you’re brand new, coming with family or friends, or looking to reconnect with your community, this is the perfect night to come out and meet amazing people in a relaxed and supportive space.

Join us this Wednesday at the Aurora public library starting at 6:30, to ring in spring with DIY planter arrangements! We’ve got pots, gravel, soil, and a bunch of beautiful flowers all ready. You can make something special to decorate your space for the spring time, or to give as a gift to someone else.

A few weeks ago our community came together to design stickers we plan to have made for . We’ve narrowed the designs down to a Top 10 list, and we’d like your help to select the designs we’ll have our friends print. In the comments let us know which slide or slides are your favourite (2-11), tag your friends and family and have them vote too! Stayed tuned for when we announce the winners!

Join us Wednesday January 28th. 6:30 p.m. at the Aurora Public Library
Each month, we bring people together for a new activity, from creative workshops to game nights, offering a space to connect, unwind, and simply enjoy the company of others. Whether you’re here to share, listen, or just have fun, you’ll find an open and affirming community where you can be yourself.

We know our membership is full of creative folx, and so we hope you’ll “stick” with us for another Arts based social event for March. For this year’s Pride activation we would like to showcase a line of stickers designed by our community members! Although every design may not go to print, this fun design contest can help us develop a handful of stickers we’ll be giving away all June long. We want to see your cute creatures, powerful statements; basically anything that captures your sentiments about Pride in a 3x3 inch square. Come with art tools you like working with best, or feel free to use the supplies we’ll be bringing.

We’ll have warm drinks, sweet treats, and plenty of encouragement as everyone creates their own unique snowy masterpiece. It’s the perfect chance to relax, unwind, and share some joy in a welcoming space where everyone belongs

And while the competition might get fierce, the atmosphere stays laid-back and welcoming. Note for this event, Pflag is unable to provide food or refreshments.
