Come see a traditional weaving and spinning demonstration and learn the Quechua and Spanish language differences with Emily Stovel from the Arnprior & District Museum! Kids can test it out themselves with the children’s spinning and weaving craft following the demonstration! Craft will be provided by our friends at the Local Immigration Partnership as part of their summer Culture Connect series!

Thank you to the Renfrew and District Food Bank for partnering with us at the library by supplying menstrual products for our washrooms and helping to ensure menstrual equity in our community!

Sugarcane Documentary Screening - May 31st at 5PM

Join the Circle of Turtle Lodge (CTL) and the Renfrew Public Library for a powerful and memorable evening at the beautiful Nenaawateg (Indigenous Hub) Suite in the Bonnechere Algonquin First Nation (BAFN) Cultural Centre at the myFM Centre.

Following the screening, all are welcome to take part in a Smudging and Sharing Circle Ceremony led by Circle of Turtle Lodge.

Please join us in welcoming Abby and Taryn to the Renfrew Public Library team! 🎉

🌊 Abby is our TD Summer Reading Club Coordinator and will be leading this year’s splash‑tastic aqua‑themed fun. Look for her in the Children’s Library!

📚 Taryn is stepping into the role of Collections and Social Media Coordinator, pop upstairs to say hi and help us make her feel at home.

We’re so excited to have them both on board! 🤗✨
