Thank you to the incredible physicians in Saskatchewan!

Today is National Physicians’ Day, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to physicians in Saskatchewan and across Canada.

Every day, doctors show up for patients, for families, and for communities. They’re there when things are uncertain, when decisions are hard, and when care truly matters most. All of this work is done with skill, compassion, and care, often in complex and demanding environments.

Physicians - your commitment makes a real difference in people’s lives, in every corner of our province and across the country. Today (and every day!) we are grateful for the care you give, the trust you earn, and the dedication you bring to your work.

Thank you so much for everything you do!

Access to health care can be challenging in a province as large as Saskatchewan, especially if you live far from a major centre.

That’s why mobile mammography trailers are so important, bringing breast screening closer to people in rural and northern communities. To help make that possible, eHealth Saskatchewan partnered with SaskTel to improve connectivity on these trailers using both cellular and satellite technology.

With stronger, more reliable connections, images are shared faster, clinics run more smoothly, and technologists can focus on what matters most – patient care.
