That was one heck of a race at Table Mountain Regional Park!

“Mountain” probably should have been our first clue that this was no ordinary cross-country race! With a course that seemed to go nothing but uphill, our Excel Distance athletes took on the challenge and represented their districts and schools with some amazing finishes!

Way to tackle the hills and get it done, Excel Family! ❤️🖤💛

🫶Coaches matter!
-Coaches make valuable contributions to the quality of life in communities across Canada.
-Coaching contributes significantly to volunteerism in Canada.
-Coaches develop young athletes’ passion for sport that can carry them on to greater heights.

We’re so proud of Excel Athletika athlete Lucas Faye, who helped the Saskatchewan Special Olympics Soccer Team bring home Gold at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat! 🥇

To make it even more special, Lucas has also been nominated for Special Olympics Saskatchewan Athlete of the Year! 👏

Lucas’s dad shared how important Excel has been in his success in a crossover sport:

“This just goes to show how training with an amazing club like Excel helps in other ways in Lucas’s life.”

We couldn’t agree more! The strength, conditioning, confidence and dedication Lucas develops at Excel are helping him succeed both on and off the track.

Congratulations, Lucas! Your Excel family is incredibly proud of you! ❤️

The Western Canadian Team Challenge, July 17-19th, was an incredible success, and it's all because of the amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make it happen.

From setup to teardown, hospitality to officiating, marshalling to medals...every role mattered. Because of you, hundreds of athletes, coaches, and families enjoyed a first-class meet and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Excel Athletika is truly grateful to every single person who showed up, pitched in, and helped wherever needed. Your dedication is what makes our club, and our sport, so special.

We are proud to be part of such an incredible track and field community.

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! 💚👏
