Special treasures at this weekend’s Vintage & Collectibles Sale!

We have some truly special finds up for grabs, including a rare Wedgwood Fine Bone China Carlyn Pattern set with platinum trim. This pristine 1962 set includes 10 place settings, a vegetable dish with lid, and gravy boat with tray— plus additional Carlyn pieces available to add to the collection.

Did you know that manufacturers like Wedgwood widely used platinum alongside traditional gold trim? Platinum became fashionable starting in the 1950’s because it’s cool, silvery sheer paired well with contemporary porcelain minimalist designs. Platinum is durable & resists corrosion and does not tarnish! Platinum trim is not unusual on china plates and has been a popular standard choice for fine china for nearly a century.

Also featured is an Elsa Peretti Orchid Ceramic Pot with saucer, made specifically for Tiffany & Co.!

And that’s just the beginning!

You’ll also find china sets, glass and crystal, jewellery, vintage treasures, teacups, silver-plated flatware, Ty Beanie Babies and MORE!

Sale opens to the public at 12 noon both days this weekend.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...🎄

Not because it's fall, not because it's back to school, but because the Victorian Christmas Tea lottery is open!!☕🔔

Due to this tea being so popular and there are so many requests, we open the Christmas Tea registrations as a lottery.

From September 1 to October 4 (4 p.m. is the deadline) request forms are available for everyone to fill out.

After October 4, the reservations will be by random draw.

There are some rules:
- Only one request per person or group

Last Weekend Of Summer! What Are You Waiting For?!

Before summer officially waves goodbye, come spend some time at Government House! There’s still plenty to see, do, and discover.

Love theatre? Step into the spotlight!
Our Feature Exhibit, In the Limelight: The Foundation of Theatre in Regina, takes you behind the curtain and into Regina’s fascinating theatre history.

For more than 100 years, Regina has been home to amateur and professional theatre companies and Government House has been part of that story! From providing rehearsal and performance spaces as Saskatchewan House to Lieutenant Governors offering their support through Honorary Patronage, the two histories are connected in some pretty amazing ways.

Art more your thing? We’ve got you covered!
Head upstairs to the Queen Elizabeth II Art Gallery and check out Whispers of the Quiet Wide, a beautiful collaborative exhibition by Diane Larouche Ellard & Cindy Hoppe. Prairie landscapes, stories, spirit and beauty come together in this exhibition that has been getting rave reviews! Come see what all the buzz is about.

And while you’re here… take a trip back to 1905!
Join one of our Visitor Experience Hosts for a tour of Government House and discover what life was like when Saskatchewan’s first Lieutenant Governor lived here.

See the beautiful rooms, hear the stories, learn about Victorian etiquette and traditions and check out the surprisingly “modern” conveniences that made Government House the place to be!

Then head outside!
Our 8.5 acres of Edwardian Gardens are waiting for you. Wander the pathways, explore the garden rooms, enjoy the shade and soak up those last precious summer days.

Theatre, Art, History, Gardens…
One house. One weekend. SO much to discover!
Don’t let summer end without one more visit to Government House. Grab your family, grab your friends and come see us this weekend!
