🦖 It’s Velociraptor Awareness Month (yes, that’s a real thing!).

Our resident inflatable velociraptor and Simon, our resident non-inflatable VelociREADER, have an important prehistoric announcement: it’s almost time to say farewell to our Royal Tyrrell Museum pop-up fossil exhibit! 😢

Our pantodont fossil (while not a dinosaur himself, but a large herbivorous mammal from the Paleocene age) has been a welcome addition to our Downtown Branch for the past year. We’ve loved having it around and pairing it with a year of dino and palaeontology-themed programs!

Want to see this prehistoric exhibit before it disappears? Stop by the Downtown Branch in the next couple of weeks for one last look. Our pantodont is expected to stomp out of here sometime during the third week of September, so don’t wait too long!
