INTERN CLERK-TREASURER POSITION

The Township of Dawson and the Township of Lake of the Woods are accepting applications for the position of intern Clerk Treasurer. The successful candidate will oversee administrative and financial operations for both municipalities. For further information contact the undersigned. Upon successful completion of the intern term, the permanent Clerk Treasurer position will be offered to the successful applicant. 2026 Census, positions available.

Hello,

I am pleased to inform you that the next Census of Population will take place in May 2026. To carry out this important work, Statistics Canada is hiring approximately 32,000 people across Canada to help residents complete their census questionnaires.

Bergland Outdoor Rink.
The project has been completed and the community is very happy to see the renovated facility. The new boards will make the flooding of the rink for skating ice much more convenient and efficient. The improved roofing on the change shack will extend the life of the building. The community is looking forward to ice and the opportunity to make use of the facility.

Ontario Trillium Foundation has provided a grant to assist in the removal and replacement of the boards on our outdoor skating rink. The project is now complete and the facility will be ready once the weather permits ice making to take place. The new boards project was in addition to the new lights that were installed to provide lighting for the facility.
