Dear parents,

Ms. Labbé is happy to invite all SFE students to a fun Movie Night in the gym on May 22nd from 7:00pm to 9:30 pm to raise money for her Kilimandjaro expedition.

The entry fee is $10. She will also offer free popcorn for all students. All proceeds will go directly to the CHUS Foundation.

To register your child, please send her an e-mail at [email protected] by mentioning the Movie Night and the name of your child attending the event.

Two options are offered for payment. You can pay by transfer at the same e-mail address (mention your child's name) or send a ziploc bag with cash and a note with your child's name.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact her by e-mail. Thank you for encouraging her in this incredible journey for mental health awareness.

Mme Labbé a le plaisir d’inviter tous les élèves de SFE à une soirée cinéma conviviale qui se tiendra au gymnase le 22 mai, de 19 h à 21 h 30, afin de collecter des fonds pour son expédition au Kilimandjaro.
Le prix d’entrée est de 10 $. Elle offrira également du pop-corn gratuit à tous les élèves. L’intégralité des recettes sera reversée directement à la Fondation du CHUS.

Double New Banner/Gold Medal Alert ‼️
A very large congratulations to our Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 Futsal teams!! Both teams worked hard, came with intensity that was both fun and positive for all!! An incredible way to close out our Futsal season for 2025-2026 school year!
A very large thank you to all the parents for coming out during the season and showing their support!! And thank you our coaches: Coach Christina, Coach Pamela, Ms Amanda and Ms. Breton for your invested time, energy and organization to allow our students to make these fun memories!!

🎭 April Fool’s Fun at SFE! 🎭

Our early April Fool’s prank was a HUGE success! 😄

A big thank you to everyone who was such a great sport and embraced the surprise — even rocking those brown school colors with pride to “reveal” our brand new logo 😂🎯

The laughs were endless, and the smiles said it all. Moments like these remind us how special our school community truly is 💛

Dear Parents,

I am honored to share some exciting news with you. As a Physical Education and Health teacher, and as an advocate for both physical and mental wellbeing, I strive every day to model courage, perseverance, and determination for my students.

In October 2026, I will be taking on a new challenge by joining a hiking team to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. This expedition is made possible through the CHUS Foundation, which is overseeing the project in order to raise funds for mental health awareness.

This cause is especially meaningful to me, as I have personally experienced difficult moments in my life that required mental health support. I strongly believe this challenge is a powerful opportunity to give back and help provide hope to those who need it. My personal fundraising goal is $3,000 for the Foundation.

I would love for my students to be part of this adventure as well. To make this possible, I will be purchasing a banner featuring our school logo. Each student will be invited to sign the banner in exchange for a donation to the Foundation. I will carry this banner in my backpack throughout the climb and proudly take a photo with it at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Together, we can make a difference—because who are we? SFE!

A big thank you to the Leadership Program at QHS for offering such an amazing experience to our students! It’s experiences like these that our students will make the best memories!

Another shoutout to the Alumni for helping fun QHS's Leadership Program.
Last week, our students hosted a mini leadership camp for Ste-Foy Elementary cycle 2 students, helping prepare our leaders of the future!
Guided by QHS staff Fannie Marsh, Derek Chan, Laurie Thibault and Susy Meisels, they spent 3 days at Camp Portneuf where skills were developed and put to the test, peer mentorship was put into full effect, and memories to last a lifetime were created!

☘️ When Irish Eyes Are Smiling! ☘️

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at school! What a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter, and green spirit across the entire school. Our students and staff truly embraced the celebration, creating great memories together throughout the day.

🍀 Extreme Green Day at SFE! 🍀

Tomorrow we will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our Extreme Green Day! We invite all students to wear as much green as possible and go all out with their festive spirit.

All students who participate by wearing green and being extra creative and extreme will have the chance to enter a prize draw. We can’t wait to see our school filled with green from head to toe! 💚

Please also note that our St. Patrick’s Dance will take place this Friday. All SFE leprechauns are welcome to join the fun! 🍀
