Since 1952 we’ve been holdin’ the line,
Bow Horn Bay Fire keepin’ sparks in time.
Dedicated volunteers, hearts burnin’ bright,
Showin’ up ready when we get the call at night.
Small town hearts with a fearless soul,
One crew, one family, we rise through it all
We’re volunteers but we fight like pros,
Through the smoke and embers when the winds blow
Rain or thunder, blackened sky,
We stand together side by side.
Through every storm and every flame,
Bow Horn Bay remember our name.
We’re the heart of the island, we’re the night and day,
We’re the crew that shows up when the world turns grey.
Cruisin’ the Island Highway, lights ablaze,
Bow Horn Bay Fire ’til the end of our days!
Shelby’s barkin’, sirens wail,
Red lights streakin’ through the midnight sky.
Down the island highway, through the coastal rain
Bow Horn Bay Fire—lead the way!
Along the shore where the cold tides roll,
This department’s stitched into the island soul.
Every handshake earned, every lesson learned,
Every call reminds us why the fire still burns.
Rain or thunder, blackened sky,
We stand together side by side.
When the radios crackle and the tones ring out,
There ain’t a single one of us backing out.
We’re the heart of the island, we’re the night and day,
We’re the crew that shows up when the world turns grey.
Cruisin’ the Island Highway, lights ablaze,
Bow Horn Bay Fire ’til the end of our days!
Through the rain-soaked nights and the cedar smoke,
Through the hard-hit calls and the fear we choke,
And when the flames rise high against the bay,
You’ll hear those sirens cut through the grey—
We’re the heart of the island, we’re the night and day,
We’re the ones still standin’ when the skies turn grey.
Cruisin’ the Island Highway, lights ablaze,
Bow Horn Bay Fire ’til the end of our days!
