Hi everyone!

Some of you might have seen the sign on the front door, but we want to let everyone know that Two Doors Down is going to be closed starting this evening, September 3rd, until Tuesday, September 15th. The team is going to engage in some staff development and training during this period.

We do apologize for the short notice, but just know that we're already looking forward to opening our doors again.

Support services will remain open, but drug checking, drop-in, and overdose prevention will be closed. Samples for drug checking can be dropped off at the Needle Exchange around the corner.

The POUNDS Project online swag shop is now officially open to the public!

Come on down to the wood innovation centre today until 3! Get to know some of the coolest harm reduction workers around and see what services Prince George has to offer for folks who use substances 💜🌞

POUNDS is seeking donations of a few things to make our Downtown Clean-up and BBQ this weekend a success!

Items we are accepting:
Hot dogs
Hamburgers
Buns
Tinfoil or to-go containers
Juice boxes
Serving utensils (tongs etc)
12 bags of ice
garbage pickers

We are also seeking donations of baby soap, dawn dishsoap, and old rage (IYKYK)

UPDATE to the drug advisory from last Friday:

Cyclorphine is a novel synthetic opioid and IS NOT detectable by fentanyl test strips!

The only way to know what exactly is in your substance is to get it tested at a drug checking site. Our drug checking service is open Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 4PM, or you can drop off your sample for testing any time our site is open. Call 250-617-7928 for any questions.

We will be open today, Tuesday August 18th, from 8AM-1PM

Drug checking will also be open noon - 4PM

We will be closed tonight and then back to our regular hours tomorrow

Due to some staff training and events that are happening this week, we will be closed today (Sunday) and Tuesday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Needle Exchange/AIDS Prevention Program will be open today, tomorrow, and Tuesday from 815AM - 7PM if folks require harm reduction services or would like to drop off samples for drug checking.

See you on Wednesday when we re-open!
