Another exciting step forward for Prescott.

I was pleased to join the grand opening of our new Food Basics and welcome this important investment to our community.

With approximately 90 new jobs, more choice for local families, and continued commercial growth, this opening is another sign of the confidence businesses are placing in Prescott and its future.

I am proud of the progress we are seeing across our town, and I remain committed to attracting new investment, supporting local jobs, and building a stronger Prescott for residents and families.

Thank you to Food Basics for choosing Prescott, and for starting this new chapter with a generous $5,000 donation to the South Grenville Food Bank.

Bob Dixon thank you for your 32 years of service. Prescott, Ontario (Official) has been lucky to have you on their team! Good luck in the upcoming election!

After 32 years of volunteer fire service, Firefighter Bob Dixon has officially hung up his gear.

Over the years, Bob answered hundreds of calls for help, giving his time, energy, and dedication to the Town of Prescott and surrounding communities. Like so many volunteer firefighters, he made sacrifices that often went unseen, including interrupted sleep, missed family events, and countless hours spent serving others.

Bob's commitment to protecting our community has made a lasting impact on both our department and the people we serve.

Thank you, Bob, for your courage, leadership, and selfless dedication over the past 32 years. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement and the adventures that lie ahead.

You may be retiring from active service, but you will always have a place in the Prescott Fire Department family.

Downtown Prescott matters.

It is where we shop, eat, talk, and run into people we know.

Downtown revitalisation and streetscape improvement are about keeping that part of Prescott strong: supporting the businesses already here, bringing more people downtown, and making the area feel cared for.

There is more work to do, but I am glad to see things moving.

Prescott has always been a waterfront town. We should never take that for granted.

From Sandra S. Lawn Harbour to RiverWalk Park and Centennial Park, the river is where people walk, boat, gather and spend time with family.

We have improved the marina, docks and water access to make the waterfront safer and easier to enjoy.

The goal is simple: protect what makes it special and keep making it better for the people of Prescott.

Prescott needed a modern hotel. We made it a priority, and today the 69-room Quality Inn & Suites is open.

With accommodations for visitors, workers and families, plus meeting space for up to 120 people, Prescott can host more events, attract more investment and bring more customers to local businesses.

People who stay here eat here, shop here and support local jobs.

Spend any time at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre & Seymour Recreation Complex and you’ll see Prescott at its best: kids playing, teams competing, volunteers pitching in and families catching up.

From local programs and community events to competitions like the Special Olympics, this complex is busy year-round. And that’s exactly what we want.

I’m proud of what it has become and committed to keeping recreation accessible for Prescott residents of every age and ability.

Prescott’s seniors helped build this community.

They deserve to age close to the people, places, and town they know.

The redevelopment of Wellington House is one of the most important community investments moving forward in Prescott. The project is expected to expand the home from 60 beds to 128 beds, adding 68 long-term care beds so more seniors can remain close to family, friends, and familiar support.

For Prescott, this is about more than a building.

It is about dignity. It is about care. It is about families being able to stay connected. It is about making sure the people who gave so much to this town are not forgotten as we plan for the future.

A stronger Prescott is a community that takes care of every generation.
