On September 11, we honor the memory of the fallen and pay tribute to the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and civilians who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy 25 years ago.

The bonds formed between Canada and the United States in the aftermath of 9/11 continue to remind us that in times of crisis, communities come together as one.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

After 32 years of volunteer fire service, Firefighter Bob Dixon has officially hung up his gear.

Over the years, Bob answered hundreds of calls for help, giving his time, energy, and dedication to the Town of Prescott and surrounding communities. Like so many volunteer firefighters, he made sacrifices that often went unseen, including interrupted sleep, missed family events, and countless hours spent serving others.

Bob's commitment to protecting our community has made a lasting impact on both our department and the people we serve.

Thank you, Bob, for your courage, leadership, and selfless dedication over the past 32 years. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement and the adventures that lie ahead.

You may be retiring from active service, but you will always have a place in the Prescott Fire Department family.
