⏰ Time is running out to secure funding for your capital project in the qathet region. The Powell River Community Forest is currently accepting applications for grants that deliver long-term community benefits, but the window closes on September 30.

👉 Important changes have been made to the application process this year. You must use the new application form when submitting your proposal.

✅ Eligible Applicants: Local non-profit organizations with community-focused capital projects.

Love skating and working with the community? The City of Powell River is looking for a Skate Shop Attendant to join our Recreation Complex team! You'll run the skate shop, manage equipment, assist patrons, and help keep our arena safe, fun, and welcoming.

Job Details:
💰 Pay Rate: $31.49 / hour (CUPE Local 798)
🕛 Hours: Varied schedule (daytimes, evenings, and weekends)

What You Need:
✅ Advanced skating ability
✅ 3 months of experience in customer service, recreation, or child supervision
✅ Occupational First Aid Basic, AED training, and WHMIS certification
✅ Clear RCMP Criminal & Vulnerable Sector checks
