What a day.

Today, we came together to celebrate, to connect, and to recognize what this community is capable of when we all show up.

Slide through to see some moments from our Campaign Touchdown Perogie Lunch… and to the final reveal.

This milestone belongs to all of you, our donors, partners, volunteers, and community.

We’re grateful. And we’re just getting started.

As the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair wraps up this week, we’ve been reminded just how deeply agriculture shapes our community.

From early mornings to long seasons, farm families and agricultural workers are the foundation of so much of what we celebrate, not just at events like the Winter Fair, but in our everyday lives.

As many in our community also mark Easter, a time often centered on renewal, care, and gathering around the table, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you for the work you do, the resilience you show, and the role you play in keeping our communities strong and connected.

We are grateful for you, this week and every week. 🌾

We recognize and celebrate the strength, leadership, and contributions of transgender and non-binary people in our community.

International Transgender Day of Visibility is a time to honour identity, increase awareness, and affirm that everyone deserves to be seen, respected, and safe.

At United Way West Central Manitoba, we are committed to fostering spaces rooted in dignity, belonging, and equity. That commitment includes supporting inclusive communities where people can live authentically and without fear.

What might you walk away with from a day like Flourish?

Not just a break from your routine.
Not just a day that feels good in the moment.

But something you can actually carry with you:
• simple ways to manage stress in real time
• clearer boundaries, without the guilt spiral
• new perspectives on resilience and hope
• a reminder that your wellbeing matters too

This day was created for people who carry a lot, often quietly.

The ones others rely on.
The ones who keep showing up.
The ones who rarely pause long enough to ask what they need.

If that’s you, you’re not the only one. And you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

If you’ve been considering coming, this might be your moment.

We are incredibly grateful to Central Plains Safe Ride for their generous donation from their 2025 Operation Red Nose campaign, in support of our youth programs.

Your continued partnership means so much to us and to the young people in our community. For 19 years, you have played an important role in keeping our roads safe - helping people get home safely and preventing impaired driving.

Thank you for the meaningful work you do and for making a lasting impact right here in our community. We truly appreciate all that you do! ❤️

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

A more equitable future starts with standing against discrimination in all forms.

That work happens in everyday moments. In policy decisions. In hiring practices. In who we listen to and who we amplify.

Today, and every day, we commit to advancing equity, challenging racism, and building a community where dignity and opportunity are not determined by race.

We all have a role to play.
