Last Friday, our grade 4-8 students had the opportunity to attend the Antler River Elementary Children’s Powwow. It was a meaningful and memorable experience filled with learning, celebration, and community.
Thank you to Antler River Elementary School and the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation for inviting KCPS to be part of such a special day.

The Legion Co****le League has once again supported our Captains in a big way! 💙 Thank you so much for your donation for the purchase of books at our wonderful, local Lake House Books! What a phenomenal day of softball! Our girls softball team made it all the way to Semis!!!! 💙🥎 This group should be incredibly proud of their achievements and teamwork throughout the day! Way to go Captains!!!!

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we’d love to invite all school families to join us for one of our last Home & School meetings this Thursday!

This meeting also marks the beginning of our council nomination season, with nominations closing on June 5th. We truly encourage fresh new faces, new ideas, and anyone who has ever considered getting involved — all are welcome!

Whether you can commit to a role, help occasionally, or simply want to learn more about what we do, we’d love to see you there. Our Home & School community is strongest when many voices are at the table.

Our school had the most incredible Water Safety Day on Friday coordinated by our friend Nathan McIntyre of the Rip Current Information Project (RiP). The kids had so much fun!
Students learned about rip tides and how to identify and manage them, drowning prevention, boating safety, beach flag systems, how to get help when needed and how to stay safe in the heat and sun.
