🚌We are happy to partner with the Region of Durham to display our artists work on a Durham Region Transit (DRT) bus.

🎨 The artwork of our talented artists Jon Colwell, Sharifah Marsden, and Luke Swinson Art now wraps a DRT bus that is travelling through the region, creating a opportunies for all of us to reflect, recognize, and honour the meaning of "Every Child Matters".

🧡 Everyone is welcome to attend Durham Region's Annual Walk for Truth and Reconcilliation on September 18.

🧡 Durham Region is proud to partner with Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation to showcase the work of talented community artists Jon Colwell, Sharifah Marsden and Luke Swinson Art.

We are proud to support Simcoe Hall's Sun Fun Day Camp.

We are incredibly grateful to the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation for their generous $2,500 donation in support of Simcoe Hall’s Sun Fun Day Camp.

Their kindness helped give children in our community a summer filled with new experiences, outdoor adventures, friendships, laughter and so many wonderful memories.

Support like this makes these opportunities possible and ensures more children have the chance to simply enjoy being kids, exploring, learning and having fun together.

It is unacceptable that the federal government will not disclose how much public money it has spent fighting First Nations in court over access to safe drinking water and adequate housing.

First Nations deserve transparency, accountability and meaningful action—not costly legal battles over fundamental rights. Canada must invest in solutions and uphold its commitments to reconciliation.
