Please be advised Scugog Line 6 will be temporarily closed from Highway 7A to Highway 12 Tuesday, September 8, from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Please be advised the Township of Scugog Municipal Office, Fire Administration Office, and Arena will be closed Monday, September 7, for Labour Day.

These facilities will reopen Tuesday, September 8, during standard hours. Please keep these closures in mind when planning visits to the facilities.

The available portion of the Scugog Arena parking lot will be used as Fair parking Saturday through Monday. Please note, construction will be continuing on the east end of the lot, however, the west lot outside of the fenced area will be open for public parking.

Ahead of the long weekend, we welcome residents and visitors to enjoy Scugog Parks and remind them to please treat our park areas, playgrounds, and one another with respect.

Please be reminded of the following regulations when visiting Township parks:

🔹 Do not leave pet waste. Please place in a bag and dispose in a receptacle or bring home with you
🔹 Dispose of all garbage in proper receptacles
🔹 No motor vehicles
🔹 No fires
🔹 No alcohol or to***co consumption
🔹 No tents
🔹 BBQs are only allowed with an approved permit

Are you ready to take part in ’s treasure hunt? That’s right, Curbside Giveaway Day is back on Saturday, September 19!

Here’s how it works: on the event day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., residents place unwanted items (in good condition!) – clearly marked as “Free” – on their curb for anyone to pick up. At the end of the day, residents return unclaimed items to their home.
